Social Development and Promotion Centre (SDPC) has been awarded by BBC action media action to initiate Media Action’s pilot mHealth initiatives to female community health volunteers (FCHVs) in three districts namely Darchula, Rautahat and Terhathu. The training aims to improve the effectiveness of the FCHVs as health promoters, to improve the quality of interactions in health mother group meeting in the community. The FCHVs will be provided with knowledge and skills to use mHealth tool which will enhance their skill in facilitating health mother group meeting and improve the accuracy of health information they provide to the group members on 13 key health topics. During the training progam intervention a total of 815 Female Community health Volunteer were trained on Mhealth using Community behavior change intervention in comprehensive nutrition using mobile as major tool for interpersonal and group communication for message dissemination in the community
