About Us

We are SDPC, Social Development and Promotion Centre. Active since 2006, SDPC is a nongovernmental, nonprofit organization based in Lalitpur, Nepal. We have been in operation for well over nine years, being involved with various national and international development agencies and Governments.

We have implemented a number of social marketing related to health and nutrition (especially women and child nutrition), Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). We have worked with prominent agencies such as UNICEF, Child Health Division, Ministry of Health and Population, Micronutrient Initiative, to name a few. We have had the opportunity to work among rural, semi urban and urban communities in more than 25 districts around the nation with an aspiration to extend it nationwide and beyond.

Given our substantial involvement in various campaigns and projects, over the course of implementation, we have acquired a core team of experts in diverse areas such as Programme Planning, Strategizing and Management; Monitoring, Evaluation and Documentation; Behavior Change Communication; Finance and Administration; and Human Resource Management. Further, we have a roster of more than 50 trainers qualified and technically adept in nutrition, micronutrients and behavior change which further demonstrates our ability to in managing large teams scattered in diverse locations of the country. We also employ services of technical experts and consultants as and when required.

We stand committed to our goal in bringing about considerable improvement in areas of health, nutrition, education, environment and employment in the community.
